microgrid

Self-sufficient energy area

Until now, all energy systems in industrialized countries have been based on large conventional power plants, which supplied end consumers via high, medium and low voltage grids. Microgrid systems are usually systems in low voltage networks supplying separate local networks, e.g. industrial areas and production plants, housing estates or building complexes, i.e. hotels, hospitals, etc.

The functioning of independent systems, referred to as “Green Islands”, is closely related to the development of energy storage technologies. Microgrid systems, despite working in parallel with the energy system, are aimed at making the supplied areas independent of the external grid as much as possible and full use of energy from unstable renewable energy sources in a given area on a 24-hour basis.

The MEB company is the Polish precursor of such solutions and offers its system for use on the Polish market, in particular for the areas of energy clusters and cooperatives as well as production plants. The microgrid system developed by MEB as a power supply for the spa and hotel complex in Kamień Śląski puts Poland in a small group of countries that have and use such systems.

Micro Grid systems are tested all over the world and will be the basis for a complete restructuring of energy systems and minimizing countries’ dependence on fossil fuels.

Think globally, act locally

Conscious management of communes by implementing environmentally friendly solutions is a standard that should be followed by all local governments. Building awareness among residents about the use of renewable energy sources to achieve specific benefits for its residents is becoming a priority.

We are a precursor of such solutions and we offer our system for applications on the Polish market, in particular for the areas of energy clusters and cooperatives as well as production plants.

Conscious management of communes

Create your own self-sufficient photovoltaic-powered area and become independent by powering schools, swimming pools, kindergartens, offices, single-family houses, hospitals, city lighting, etc.

Creating your own self-sufficient energy area powered by photovoltaics is an excellent solution aimed at rationalizing energy consumption and promoting solutions that reduce energy consumption in the area of municipalities. By installing photovoltaics in your commune, you will store the surplus energy in your storage system and use it when the demand is increased. You will provide your commune with energy security by securing it against an unexpected lack of supplies from the supplier.

The city of the future around the corner

Each responsible local government should be guided by the overriding principle of sustainable development, which consists in introducing a policy ensuring ecological safety for the present and future generations. All this – in principle – should lead to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere and a shift towards energy sources of an “unconventional” nature.
